When I’m not designing, I’m probably rewatching a SRK film like it’s the first time, or getting lost in a new city alone, or sitting on a beach with no plan and no rush. I’ve always believed that the best ideas don’t come from staring at a screen, they come from living a little.

But if I trace it all back, it starts near Hampi.

I grew up around ruins that didn’t feel ruined at all, just quiet, intentional, and impossibly well thought out. Massive boulders, carved temples, perfect symmetry… it didn’t look like “design” back then, but it felt like something important. I remember standing in front of the Virupaksha Temple as a kid, not understanding it, just knowing it meant something.

Turns out, it taught me everything.

Hampi showed me that design isn’t decoration, it’s structure, rhythm, and knowing exactly when to stop. Long before I ever opened any design software, I was already learning composition, proportion, and restraint just by being there.

Now, every project I take on carries a piece of that place with it, a quiet obsession with making things feel intentional, balanced, and maybe… a little timeless.
